Gridworks Energy is proud to announce our partnership with our city’s professional basketball team, the Edmonton Stingers. 

The Stingers are more than just a basketball team—they symbolize our passion for energy, teamwork, community spirit, and a commitment to excellence, values that Gridworks share. 

We believe in fostering healthy communities by backing our local teams that inspire and bring our community together.

The core value of the Edmonton Stingers is to offer affordable, family-friendly fun at our games and be a positive force in our community all year long.

Through our partnership with the Stingers, we are excited to cheer on our team, encourage youth engagement in sports, and highlight the importance of teamwork both on and off the court.

As an Indigenous-owned and operated company, Gridworks Energy understands the importance of nurturing community bonds and promoting sustainable practices. 

The Edmonton Stingers play a 24-game season from May to September in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), the top professional league in Canada with 10 teams in major markets from coast to coast. 

The Stingers joined the league in its inaugural season in 2019 and have twice been crowned CEBL Champions. The Stingers play in the 3,600 seat Edmonton Expo Centre.
